Music was created to be a blessing to God and His people. The Apostle Paul encourages us to "speak to ourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; giving thanks always for all things unto God and the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Ephesians 5:19, 20.  It is clear from these two verses that God has designed music to have spiritual impact in the Believers' life.

The purpose of Music Ministry at Abundant Life Christian Center is to bring honor and glory to the Lord as well as enrich and edify the saints.

Music = any sound produced naturally or with instruments/voices with rhythm, melody and harmony that is arranged or played in groups or solo in order to create a pleasing or desired stimulating effect.

Ministry = the act of serving or being a servant to the needs of the body of Christ and the unbeliever. 1 Peter 4:10-11, "as every man hath received a gift, even so minister the same one to another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God."

Music Ministry = using music in the manner for which it was originally created:  1) to worship, praise and glorify God. 2) To edify, uplift and encourage the body of Christ in the faith. 3) To lift up the name of the Lord Jesus Christ before unbelievers that God may draw them into His kingdom. 4) To engage in spiritual warfare against the enemy.

The Music Ministry at Abundant Life Christian Center is a diverse group of worshippers, psalmists and minstrels that transcends racial and cultural differences so that we accurately reflect the Kingdom of God. To always minister under the influence of the Holy Spirit and the prophetic move of God that we may lead the Body into the place, which God has appointed.
